Black Hills -- Here's a cam with a view of the most famous carved rock, Mt. Rushmore. The image is a little dark and the wideshot makes the faces of these famed presidents difficult to see. Nevertheless, you can tell what it is. I've never been there before, so for me it's interesting to see the entrance to this tourist spot, where people are walking in. It really gives you a perspective of how large the sculpture is. Can you imagine being the person hanging up there, carving away? It's a live image, that updates every 60 seconds, but you have to reload your page to get the updated image. That, and the darkness of the shot bring this down to a . (lr) Sioux Falls -- The cam points at the Big Sioux River Falls. It's a little blurry, but updates regularly and is a pretty neat cam. Would be great if it was streaming! + (lr) Sturgis -- This is our first picture of South Dakota to be up on the site! It's called the Sturgis Main Street Spycam, so-called I think because of the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally that takes place there. The viewer who sent me this link says it's cool to see the motorcycles passing through during the race in early August. It says it updates every 60 seconds, but when I visited the first time, the time stated on the cam was about four hours earlier. The second time, considering time differences, it was about one hour off. (LR)
