Albuquerque -- These shots out of New Mexico, specifically Albuquerque, Santa Fe and some mountain views, rotate in and out, depending on the feed that the TV station routes through the web-fed channel. So, I can't really rate one camera, since I never what will be shown. When they're on, they're really on. These are some beautiful cams -- they're just not always there. I'll give it when they're on. Carlsbad -- Here's a backyard shot from a house on the Pecos River. It was kind of quiet when I last looked, but supposedly it can have bursts of activity when jet skiers are cruising up and down the river. It's clear and bright and seems to work with consistency. You can also take a gander at the current weather conditions. + Portales -- Not the most scintillating netcam shot from this camera on top of a television station tower, facing the Eastern New Mexico University. The view is little more than the edge of a parking lot, some one-story buildings along with some grass and a few trees. Not much sky for a weather watch, but since this is the first camera of New Mexico on this page, here is the shot, which earns the ranking because it's the lone camera from New Mexico. Santa Fe -- Called the Santa Fe Plaza Cam, this is only our second New Mexico camera and the first for Santa Fe. The image captures the northern half of the Santa Fe Plaza and the portal of the Palace of the Governors, the oldest public building in the United States. Image quality is good, but it only updates every 20 minutes. +. (lr)
