Chicago -- Catch a magnificent downtown view from Chicago's West Loop. The cam is looking out northeast to the Merchandise Mart and the John Hancock Center. This is a very clear image, even at night. Updates every five minutes. Nice cam! Even with the lagging refresh time, I have to give it Chicago -- From the WGN juggernaut, this shot of the Lake Michigan shoreline is enough to give anyone with vertigo the Willies. On top of a very tall, tall, tall structure, it makes you feel like you are seeing the city from a balloon. Also seems to not be updating regularly. For that, Chicago -- Here's one from the other side of the Hancock Building -- the "very tall, tall, tall building" -- I spoke about above. This one looks toward the city, down onto the city's other tall buildings. You almost feel like you don't have a full supply of oxygen, you feel you are so far high up. The sheer height of this shot -- even though it's a bit blurry, has to be worth , but let's take some off for lack of consistency in updating. Chicago -- Here's a street-level shot -- finally, and worth a camera in the rating just to get us off the tall buildings -- that is crisp, sharp and of decent quality. It provides the feeling of being in a "big city" with a lot of cabs in this shot of Michigan Avenue. Image has a slight blue tint to it, but otherwise a good cam ... + Quincy -- Downtown Quincy, here I come! This is a skycam of the city. I know it looks small from this link, but you can click on it for a bigger view. However, like too many skycams, this view shows more sky than city, which is unfortunate; the Quincy sky doesn't seem much different than any other city's. But it's not a bad cam.
