New Orleans -- This is The NewOrleansChannel's proudest camera. It's from a top floor of the Royal Sonesta Hotel, looking down onto an Mardi Gras central! It's a great vantage point for all the craziness, but, as the warning will attest, it's not for all comers. In case you haven't heard, things tend to get a little crazy on Borboun Street. However, it's not the sharpest cam I've ever seen, and a closer view might be nice. Still, worth New Orleans -- Another New Orleans cam, but this one is not on Bourbon Street. Catch a different view of "The Big Easy" with the Causeway Cam, located on top of the north shore toll plaza of the Causeway, one of the longest bridges in the world. Shreveport -- Here's a link to a Louisiana TV station, which has a couple of cams on the front page of the site. The best cam shows images from their sky cam in downtown Shreveport. The image is a little on the fuzzy side, but the content is great -- at least it was when I looked the first time. Upon a reinvestigation, I found it to be very boring. Hmm. I'll check back. A second cam is labeled Brentwood Hospital, and although the shot includes a building that certainly resembles a hospital, it also includes a Shreveport neighborhood along with a rolling horizon in the background. They should really change that label. +
